Hi, I’m Courtney
Court’s Cookie Jar was born in June, 2020 at my cousins’ graduation party. I — needing a new hobby at the height of the pandemic — took one look at the custom cookies on the dessert table and told everyone that I was going to learn to decorate cookies like that. One trip to Hobby Lobby and the rest was history (okay, maybe more than one trip… there was a lot of trial and error).
Over the new few months I spent countless hours in the kitchen making a mess (sorry mom) and forcing my neighbors to try each and every rendition of my cookie recipe (not so sorry neighbors). Finally, I landed upon the most delicious recipe with just the right texture. I posted my first set of 4th of July cookies for sale and a couple days later my counter was full of red, white, and blue frosting.
I have since made cookies for all occasions — graduations, holidays, weddings, engagement parties, gender reveals, MCAT & LSAT test takers, birthdays, and more! Aside from being a baker, I am a nursing student at Boston College. When I’m not baking cookies or at school, I’m probably working or taking classes at SoulCycle, exploring Boston with my friends, or scrolling Pinterest for my next creative ideas.
I can’t wait to make cookies for you! Welcome to the Court’s Cookie Jar family :)
